Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital is set to light up this festive season, as Kwara Creative, an offshoot of leading Pro-Democracy group, Kwara Must Change, hosts a major Creative Hangout for media personalities and influencers, officially flagging off Detty December in the state.
The event, led by Habeeb Shuaib Ishowo, head of Kwara Creative, is designed to bring together content creators, bloggers, filmmakers, photographers, entertainers and digital storytellers in an atmosphere of creativity, collaboration and cultural exchange.
The hangout will take place on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Bambi Resort, Agbadam Lake, Ilorin.
Organisers say the gathering is aimed at strengthening Kwara’s creative ecosystem, boosting cultural visibility and positioning the state as a rising hub for entertainment, digital media and youth-driven innovation.

Speaking ahead of the event, Ishowo said the initiative was created to give structure, identity and national relevance to Kwara’s fast growing creative industry.
“This is about owning our narrative, empowering our people and showing Nigeria that Kwara is ready to lead creatively,” he said.
With performances, networking and creative showcases planned, stakeholders believe Kwara is set for its most vibrant festive season yet.
