The creative industry in Kwara State recorded another major win as Make Hey, a movie by one of the state’s fast-rising filmmakers and creatives, premiered to a total sell-out at Viva Cinema, Ilorin.
The premiere attracted filmmakers, creatives, media personalities and movie lovers, further proving that Kwara audiences are ready to support quality local productions.
Beyond entertainment, Make Hey delivered a strong message of hope, encouragement and inspiration, especially for young people and creatives navigating their journey.
The film was produced by Abdulsalam Olamilekan (Multitalented Shiyanbola) with Saint Stephene serving as the director.

The production quality and storytelling were further strengthened by the creative input of the Director of Photography Dapo Visual, alongside Sunny Brown and an impressive crew whose collective effort brought the project to life.
Also speaking, Abdulsalam Olamilekan (Multitalented Shiyanbola) expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support:“Seeing the cinema filled and knowing that people connected with this story means everything.
This project was born out of passion and belief in our craft and the support from the creatives in the state makes it even more special.
”Speaking at the event, Habeeb Shuaib Ishowo (Justice Visual) Founder of Kwara Creatives, described the success of the premiere as another sign that the state’s creative ecosystem is thriving.
“This is what we keep saying, Kwara is full of talent. When creatives are consistent and supported the results speak for themselves. Seeing a total sell-out like this shows that our stories matter and our people are ready for them,” he said.
Also reacting to the milestone, Abiodun Aliu (Abbey Creative), producer of Ìṣe Mi, Èbùn Mi and Filmmakers Lead at Kwara Creatives, praised the production team for pushing creative boundaries.
