The leading aspirant for the Ilorin South State House of Assembly seat, Hajia Hauwau Alabi-Bashir, popularly known as Sofun Auntie Hauwa, has joined eminent sons and daughters of the Ilorin Emirate, political leaders, and well-wishers across Kwara State in celebrating the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari (CFR), on the occasion of his 86th birthday anniversary.
In her congratulatory message, Hajia Hauwau Alabi-Bashir described the revered monarch as a father to all, a symbol of peace, and a custodian of the rich cultural heritage of the Ilorin Emirate. She noted that the Emir’s reign has continued to foster unity, progress, and peaceful coexistence among the people, while strengthening the bond of brotherhood across the Emirate.
She stated that the Emir’s exemplary leadership, wisdom, humility, and commitment to justice have earned him admiration and respect across Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole. According to her, His Royal Highness has remained a dependable source of guidance, stability, and moral leadership to the people throughout his reign.
Hajia Hauwau Alabi-Bashir further praised the monarch for preserving the customs and traditions of the Emirate while embracing growth, modernization, and positive change. She added that his fatherly role has continued to promote harmony among diverse communities and inspire younger generations toward discipline and service.
The Ilorin South Assembly hopeful prayed Almighty Allah to continue to grant the Emir sound health, long life, divine protection, peace of mind, and many more fruitful years on the throne. “On behalf of my family, political associates, supporters, and the good people of Ilorin South, I heartily congratulate our highly respected royal father, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari (CFR), on his 86th birthday anniversary.
