BREAKING…..
It’s official, and it’s already creating conversations across the constituency. Youth advancement ambassador and grassroots mobilizer, Abdulmajeed Abdulfatai Arikewuyo, has declared his intention to contest for the Kwara State House of Assembly, representing Magajin Ngeri (Ilorin Central) Constituency under the APC.
It is the entry of a committed core progressive, a loyal party man who has consistently identified with the ideals and direction of the All Progressives Congress and remains firmly aligned with the leadership and developmental vision of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
Within party circles and the grassroots, Abdulmajeed is widely regarded as someone whose loyalty to the party structure and progressive agenda has remained steady and visible. His support for the Governor’s development-driven reforms in Kwara State reflects a clear belief in continuity, stability, and people-centered governance.
“For me, this is about our people. It is about strengthening what we already have, deepening development, and ensuring that governance continues to reach the grassroots. Politics must remain community-based and people-driven,” he said.
Abdulmajeed is widely known for his close connection with the grassroots, especially youths and everyday people trying to make ends meet. His journey has always been about being present, listening, and showing up when it matters.
With “Project Magajin Ngeri 2027,” his focus is simple and clear:
Empowering and advancing youths
Supporting women, traders, and artisans
Improving opportunities for everyone
Giving the community a stronger voice
For many people, this feels different.
It feels closer.
It feels real.
And as more people begin to pay attention, one thing is certain, the race for Ilorin Central just got more interesting.
Ends.
