The leadership of the Ilorin Emirate Youth Development Association (IEYDA) has paid a courtesy visit to the Lagos Area Manager of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), Engr. (Dr.) Sarat Lara Braimah, FNSE, as part of efforts to deepen collaboration on youth development and community empowerment.
Led by its National President, Alhaji Mohammed Uthman Jagunmo, the IEYDA delegation commended Engr. Braimah for her consistent support toward youth and women development initiatives within the Ilorin Emirate.

In her remarks, Engr. Braimah applauded the association for its dedication to grassroots development and lauded the remarkable transformation witnessed in Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State under the reign of the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, over the past three decades.
Describing herself as a proud daughter of the Emir, the NIWA Lagos boss pledged her “unwavering and massive support” for IEYDA’s upcoming developmental projects, including activities marking the 30th Coronation Anniversary of the Emir of Ilorin.
She also congratulated the National Secretary of IEYDA, Engr. Ahmed Kazeem Jatto, FNSE, FNIMechE, on his recent elevation to the Fellowship cadre of both the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and the Nigerian Institution of Mechanical Engineers (NIMechE), describing it as a well-deserved recognition of excellence.
In response, the IEYDA leadership expressed appreciation for Engr. Braimah’s continuous encouragement and generosity, reaffirming its commitment to fostering youth empowerment, education, and sustainable development across the Ilorin Emirate.
