Earlier today at Government Day Secondary School, Alore, Hon. Risikat Otolorin organized a special prayer and student empowerment programme in honour of the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The programme was held to mark the Governor’s birthday and to pray for his continued good health, wisdom, and strength as he leads Kwara State. Speaking at the event, Hon. Risikat Otolorin described Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as a true leader and father figure whose leadership is driven by compassion, responsibility, and genuine concern for the people, especially youths and the less privileged.

She noted that the Governor’s style of governance reflects sincerity and selfless service, adding that the special prayer was organized to appreciate his commitment to education and human capital development across the state. Prayers were offered for long life, sound health, and divine guidance for the Governor as he continues to serve humanity.

As part of the programme, scholarship support was presented to students of Government Day Secondary School, Alore. The empowerment initiative was aimed at encouraging academic excellence and supporting students in their educational pursuits.

The Principal of the school, Alhaja Onikoko Hamadalat A., expressed her appreciation to Hon. Risikat Otolorin for the gesture, describing the scholarship as timely and impactful.
She thanked the Governor for the ongoing projects in the school, noting that they reflect his genuine commitment to improving education and providing a conducive learning environment. She also prayed for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, asking Allah to grant him long life, good health, and continued wisdom.

Similarly, the Head of the school appreciated Hon. Risikat Otolorin for her support and concern for the welfare of the students. She described the empowerment as a morale booster and prayed for the Governor’s continued success in office.

Also speaking, Mr. Alafara, representing the Alore community, thanked Hon. Risikat Otolorin for her intervention and support for education. He praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, stating that the school has experienced significant development under his administration, adding that such progress had not been witnessed before.

The programme featured prayers, goodwill messages, and the presentation of scholarship support to students, as participants commended the initiative and prayed for sustained peace and progress in Kwara State.
