Koleoso, a movie by Nollywood actor Ibrahim Yekini, popularly known as Itele, has surpassed 100 million total views on YouTube, emerging as the first single-title Nollywood and African movie to achieve the milestone on the platform.
The actor announced the development on Thursday in a post on his official Instagram account, describing the feat as a result of sustained effort and creativity.
He wrote, “HISTORY. RECORD. LEGACY. L KOLEOSO HITS 100MILLION + VIEWS In total.“Officially the FIRST Nollywood title and the FIRST African movie title to hit this milestone On YouTube as ONE TITLE.

A search by Tribune Online as of the time of this publication revealed that part one of the movie has recorded 8.9 million views, while part two garnered 9.2 million views. Part three recorded over 8.3 million views, with parts four and five garnering over 10 million views each.
Parts six, seven, eight, and nine recorded over 11 million views each, while part ten, the latest in the franchise, has surpassed 10 million views.
The storyline revolves around a powerful family that employs dark magic rooted in Yoruba traditions to control others, leading to intense conflicts, particularly with characters such as Jaweshoro, Iroko, and Oracle.
