The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, has approved the appointment of Prince Aliyu Kolapo Abdulkadir as the new District Head of Ballah in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The appointment followed a competitive selection process, with Prince Abdulkadir emerging successful among several qualified candidates, according to a statement signed by the Emir’s Personal Assistant, Dr Abdulraheem Muritala.
Prince Abdulkadir, 68, is a son of the 10th Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Aliyu Abdulqadir Baba Agba. He is a retired Director of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree. The Emir prayed for wisdom, good health and a successful reign for the new district head.
