The Kwara Creatives Community successfully hosted its maiden Media & Influencers Dialogue, themed “Amplifying Kwara’s Creative Voice Through Collaboration, Influence & Digital Storytelling.”

The event, held yesterday at Bambi Resorts & Garden, brought together over 50 media personalities, influencers, bloggers, presenters, content creators, and digital storytellers from across Kwara State.

The Dialogue was convened by Habeeb Shuaib Ishowo Creative Director at Kwara Must Change, Producer of The Bridge Podcast, and Creative Lead of Kwara Creatives.

His leadership set the tone for a forward-thinking conversation on the real challenges and opportunities in Kwara’s creative space.

Discussions explored visibility for creatives, fair pricing and brand partnerships, media responsibility, collaboration over competition, and the rising importance of digital storytelling in strengthening the state’s creative economy.

Participants also brainstormed new ways to project a more accurate, inspiring, and united narrative about Kwara’s fast-growing creative talent pool.

At the end of the session, everyone agreed on one thing: Kwara is rich in talent, powered by creators, and ready for stronger collaboration.

Many attendees described the Dialogue as the start of a bigger movement to elevate the creative ecosystem and position Kwara as a rising force in Nigeria’s media and cultural space.

Kwara Creatives reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining this momentum, with more community-driven projects already in the pipeline to empower creatives across the state.
