According to the youth group’s report, over 100 people have been killed and more than 70 kidnapped across both local government areas in less than three months, raising serious concerns about the worsening state of insecurity in Kwara North.

The group urged both the Kwara State Government and the Federal Government to take urgent action to restore peace and security in the region, noting that many communities are now deserted, and farmlands abandoned due to persistent fear of attacks.

Efforts to get official comments from local security agencies and government authorities were still ongoing as of press time.
