Hajiya Zainab Damilola Abbas has formally declared her intention to contest for a seat in the Kwara State House of Assembly, aspiring to represent the good people of Ojomu/Balogun Constituency.
With a deep sense of responsibility and commitment to service, she has commenced a series of consultations and courtesy visits to key party leaders, stakeholders, and respected community figures across the constituency.
During these engagements, Hajiya Zainab emphasized her vision of delivering quality, people-centred representation anchored on inclusivity, development, and responsiveness to grassroots needs.
She appealed for support, guidance, and prayers, noting that her aspiration is driven by a genuine desire to make a positive difference in Ojomu/Balogun Constituency.
Among those visited were prominent party leaders and stakeholders, including the Offa Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Suleiman Olatunji Laro Omituntun; the Offa Local Government APC Chairman, Hon. Kunle Adegboye; the Kwara State House of Assembly member representing Essa/Shawo/Igboidun Constituency, Hon. Abdulwaheed Gbenga Yusuf (JK); former House Leader of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Hon. Hassan Oyeleke; Senior Adviser on Political Matters to the Kwara State Governor, Hon. Femi Agbaje (White); the Grand Chief Imam of Offa Land, Sheikh Salman Hussein Muhydeen; the APC Ward Chairman of Ojomu North/North West, Alhaji Layi Oyediran; the Chief Kure of Offa, Hon. AbdulHakeem Adebiyi Ojokure; Baba Y. K. Bello; Baba Adeorike; Chief Tayese; Alhaja Nike; and several other influential voices within the constituency.
In their separate remarks, the leaders commended Hajiya Zainab’s courage, humility, loyalty, and respect for party supremacy, particularly her adherence to the party’s decision to cede the ticket to the incumbent, despite having emerged as the party’s candidate in the last general elections.
They also praised her sense of purpose and expressed confidence in her capacity to deliver effective representation, pledging their support, guidance, and encouragement as she pursues her political ambition.
